What Shows Real Skill?
I received a few applications after posting a small writing job, and nearly everyone describes themselves as experienced. Their samples are decent too, which has made choosing harder than I expected. I originally wanted to hire expert copywriter for the project, but I am not sure what really proves expertise beyond a portfolio. I need someone who can understand the audience and follow feedback without making every sentence sound overly clever. How do you normally judge a copywriter's actual level of experience?
